What This Warranty Covers

Sewer Assassin warrants to the original purchaser that the FogTrace™ unit will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. During this warranty period, if a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Sewer Assassin will, at its discretion, either:

Repair the product using new or refurbished parts,
Replace the product with a new or refurbished product, or
Refund the purchase price of the product.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by:

Improper use, installation, or operation of the unit inconsistent with the product instructions, including:
- Operating the machine without fog fluid.
- Using low-quality or unapproved fog fluid (Fog Worx High Density is recommended).
- Operating the machine without ensuring the metal nozzle is submerged in fluid.
Failure to allow adequate warm-up time before operation (3–4 minutes on initial start-up).
Adding liquid while the unit is powered on.
Not cleaning the unit after 40 hours of use, as specified in the maintenance guide.
Using improper cleaning solutions or methods (recommended: 80% distilled water / 20% vinegar).
Physical abuse, impact damage, neglect, or exposure to extreme conditions (heat, moisture, etc.).
Electrical damage due to power surges, improper voltage, or unsupported power supplies.
Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage.

Owner Responsibilities

To maintain this warranty, the owner must:

Follow all instructions provided in the installation, operation, and maintenance guidelines.
Use only high-quality fog fluid.
Perform routine maintenance as outlined, including cleaning the refractory pipe after 40 hours of use.
Use and store the unit in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated environment.

Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.

Please be prepared to provide proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and (if requested) photos or video of the problem.

Customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the product for inspection or replacement. Sewer Assassin will pay for shipping of any new or refurbished units to customer.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty is your exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Sewer Assassin be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to property.
